PHNOM PENH: Minister of Labor Heng Sour met with US Ambassador W. Patrick Murphy to strengthen partnerships in the fields of employment, social security and vocational training to improve work environments and increase productivity to maintain national economic growth.

During the meeting on October 25, the Minister of Labor thanked the United States for its past assistance in labor-related issues. He then informed the US Ambassador of the commitment his ministry, along with the government led by Prime Minister Hun Manet, has to improving working conditions and harmonizing industrial relations where employers and workers can maintain their interests by strengthening their capacity and knowledge related to labor law.
